대화 텍스트, 대화 제목, 대화 주소(URL)는 저장하지도, 어디로 보내지도 않습니다.
문서에 담는 그림
Word(.docx)나 한글(.hwpx)로 저장할 때, 답변 안의 그림을 파일 안에 담기 위해
그 그림의 주소로 요청을 보냅니다. 이미 화면에 보이는 그림을 같은 주소에서 한 번 더 받아 오는 것이며,
요청은 그 사이트의 그림 서버로만 갑니다. 개발자 서버로는 아무것도 가지 않고, 대화 내용도 함께 보내지 않습니다.
받아 오지 못하면 그림 자리에 안내 글자만 남습니다. PDF 로 저장할 때는 브라우저가 이미 받아 둔 그림을 그대로 쓰므로
추가 요청이 없습니다.
기관판은 그림을 받아 오지 않습니다. 기관판 빌드에는 그 코드 자체가 들어 있지 않으며,
그림 자리에는 안내 글자만 남습니다.

라이선스 확인
라이선스 키는 전자서명된 문자열이며, 확장이 기기 안에서 서명을 검증합니다. 키가 유효한지 확인하려고 서버와 통신하지 않습니다.
키 안에는 플랜(Pro · 기관), 발급일, 만료일, 키 번호, 그리고 구매로 받은 키라면 라이선스 번호가 들어 있습니다.
직접 발급받은 키에는 발급 때 적은 표시 이름이 들어 있을 수 있습니다. 구매로 받은 키에는 이름이나 이메일을 넣지 않습니다.
결제는 결제 대행사가 처리하며, 판매를 시작하기 전에 결제 대행사와 처리 항목을 이 방침에 추가합니다.
연간 구독 키 갱신
연간 구독으로 받은 키는 만료일이 있습니다. 구독이 이어지는 동안 Pro가 끊기지 않도록, 확장이 만료 7일 전부터 만료 후 60일까지
하루 한 번 개발자의 라이선스 서버(api.c2pdf.com)에 새 키가 있는지 묻습니다.

구독을 해지했거나 환불받았으면 새 키를 주지 않으며, 지금 키는 만료일에 끝납니다.
서버는 라이선스 번호로 구독 상태를 찾는 데만 이 요청을 쓰고, 요청을 보낸 IP 주소는 저장하지 않습니다(짧은 시간 동안의 요청 횟수 제한에만 씁니다).
평생 이용권 · 직접 발급받은 키 · 관리자가 정책으로 배포한 키 · 기관판은 이 통신을 하지 않습니다.

One-line summary
Your conversations are never sent to the developer's server, under any circumstances.
On the Free plan, only if you have explicitly consented, the extension sends feature-usage statistics that contain no conversation content whatsoever.
Pro and Organization send no statistics, and license verification happens on your device.
Only if you use an annual subscription key, as expiration approaches, a single license number is sent to the developer's server to receive a new key.
Conversation content
When you choose the messages to save as a PDF, the extension clones those messages for printing within the same page,
invokes the browser's print function, and deletes the clone immediately once printing is done.
Conversation text, conversation titles, and conversation addresses (URLs) are neither stored nor sent anywhere.
Images embedded in documents
When saving to Word (.docx) or Hangul (.hwpx), in order to embed the images in a reply into the file,
the extension sends a request to each image's address. This fetches an image that is already visible on screen one more time from the same address,
and the request goes only to that site's image server. Nothing goes to the developer's server, and no conversation content is sent along with it.
If an image cannot be fetched, only a placeholder note is left in its place. When saving as a PDF, the browser reuses the images it has already downloaded,
so no additional requests are made.
The Organization build does not fetch images. That code is not present in the Organization build at all,
and only a placeholder note is left where each image would be.

These values exist only in your browser (or in your Chrome account's sync) and are not transmitted to the developer.
The only exception is the license number described under "Annual subscription key renewal" below.
Usage statistics — Free plan, only with your consent
Right after installation, an onboarding page asks whether to send them. If you do not consent, nothing is sent.
Even after consenting, you can turn it off at any time from the toolbar icon, and organization administrators can block it by policy (allowTelemetry: false).
The statistics serve two purposes — quickly detecting when a change in the page structure of ChatGPT · Claude · Gemini · Perplexity has broken a feature,
and learning which features are actually used so they can be improved.

Anything that identifies the device or the user
The fields and values that can be sent are fixed in the extension's code and cannot be expanded through remote configuration;
if anything other than the defined values appears, the entire record is discarded.
The current version has no collection address configured, so in practice no statistics are sent.
Before collection begins, the recipient and retention period will be added to this policy, and the change will be announced through an extension update.
License verification
A license key is a digitally signed string, and the extension verifies the signature on your device. It does not contact any server to check whether a key is valid.
The key contains the plan (Pro · Organization), the issue date, the expiration date, a key number, and — for keys received through purchase — a license number.
A directly issued key may contain the display name entered when it was issued. Keys received through purchase contain no name or email.
Payment is handled by a payment processor, and before sales begin, the payment processor and the data it handles will be added to this policy.
Annual subscription key renewal
Keys received through an annual subscription have an expiration date. So that Pro is not interrupted while your subscription continues, the extension asks the developer's license server (api.c2pdf.com) whether a new key is available, once a day, from 7 days before expiration until 60 days after expiration.

If the subscription for that license is still active, the server returns a new key, and the extension verifies the new key's signature on your device before swapping it in.
If the subscription was canceled or refunded, no new key is issued, and the current key ends on its expiration date.
The server uses this request only to look up the subscription status by license number, and it does not store the requesting IP address (it is used only for short-term rate limiting).
Lifetime licenses, directly issued keys, keys deployed by an administrator through policy, and the Organization build do not make this request.
Pressing the "Check for renewal" button on the toolbar icon performs one check regardless of the date.
Organization edition
Organization is a separate edition in which usage statistics, image fetching, and annual subscription key renewal are removed at build time. They are not turned off by a setting — the code itself is absent, and the build makes no network requests. Licenses are deployed by an administrator through Chrome policy.
Why each permission is used

Adds the PDF button to conversation pages and clones the selected messages for printing. Does nothing on any other site.
alarms — Checks every half day whether an annual subscription key is close to expiring. The server itself is only asked once a day, and only when the conditions above are met.
Background work — Opens the onboarding page right after installation, validates and forwards statistics if you consented, and renews annual subscription keys.
Third-party sharing and sale
Collected statistics are never sold, used for advertising, or handed over to third parties.
The extension's use of information it receives complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

If what is collected or how it is collected changes, this page will be revised and the last-updated date refreshed, and the installed extension will also announce the change.
